Opportunity description
MBC announces a job opportunity as an accountant in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Processing vendor invoices and payments.
- Responding to all vendor inquiries.
- Reconciling vendor data and correcting discrepancies.
- Reviewing all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to booking/payment, in accordance with internal company policy and VAT compliance.
- Assisting with month-end/year-end closing.
- Assisting with other projects as needed.
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive files and documentation, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
- Communicating with internal and external customers via phone, email, mail or in person.
Eligibility criteria
Must have:
- Accounting degree.
- At least 3 years of experience in accounts payable.
- Must be able to follow standard procedures.
- Able to perform calculations such as percentages, fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division quickly and accurately.
- Knowledge of office management and procedures.
- Knowledge of general accounting procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs such as Excel, Word, etc.
- Previous experience with Oracle Fusion is preferred.
