PWC offers a job opportunity as a consulting assistant for the accounting department in Egypt. This job will give you a great opportunity to develop your accounting and reporting skills.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Develop relationships with key clients and engage in working with them in a professional and confident manner.
- Work on multiple projects at the same time, balancing and managing your tasks and commitments in each.
- Providing practical and business accounting advice to clients in order to meet their objectives.
- Preparing financial reports.
- Conduct in-depth research on complex issues.
- Preparing technical papers for discussion with senior team members.
- Serving local customers, and working with colleagues within the Middle East region.
- Develop and build positive relationships with internal PwC team members and client employees.

Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Deep understanding of IFRS and general accounting principles.
- Strong interest and passion for enhancing technical accounting skills.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt on a daily basis.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize workloads.
- Flexibility and ability to cope well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability and desire to travel within the Middle East region and wherever the project dictates.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the field of business studies, accounting or finance.
- Preferably ACA, ACCA, CPA.
- One to two years of experience in auditing or other relevant experience.
- It is preferable to have accounting consulting experience.
- It is preferable to have experience in the GCC countries.
