PWC announces a job opportunity for an External Audit Associate in Doha, Qatar.

Duties & responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Effectively engaging and collaborating with others.
  • Identifying and making suggestions for improvements when issues and/or opportunities arise.
  • Handling, processing and analyzing data and information.
  • Following risk management and compliance procedures.
  • Keeping up to date with developments in the field.
  • Communicating confidently and in a clear and concise manner.
  • Building and maintaining a network of internal and external relationships.
  • Seeking opportunities to learn about how PwC operates as a global network of firms.
  • Upholding the firm’s code of ethics and business conduct.

Eligibility criteria

You must have:

  • A university degree in accounting, finance or any other relevant academic discipline.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills that allow you to thrive in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in writing and speaking in both Arabic and English.
  • Acquaintance with audit techniques and experience using data analysis tools is preferred.
  • Commitment to appreciating differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives.
  • Comprehensive technical skills and experience with applicable accounting and auditing reporting standards.
  • Experience in designing engagement procedures based on risk and materiality.
  • Previous experience in training and leading engagement teams.
  • Strong technical knowledge and the ability to research issues and present alternatives and conclusions to the client/manager.
