Microsoft is seeking someone who understands the influencer and creator landscape across platforms to work with identify, manage, onboard, and build relationships with leaders across the social media landscape, as well as strategic business partners. In this role, you will help develop influencer and creator relationships, create pitch materials, develop events and programs to support them, and help ensure that they are successful on the company's platform. The team will look to you to have your finger on the pulse of the latest trends and creators, and business partners as well as uncover the trending creators. You will partner closely with the marketing team to support these partners and ensure that they are part of the marketing and engagement mix.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Identify and build relationships with prominent influencers and thought leaders.
- Create and drive pitch and support materials for working with influencers and partners.
- Assist and onboard partners onto the platform.
- Work with marketing to develop, support, and lead events to support creators and share best practices, product updates, and opportunities.
- Attend relevant events for networking and business purposes.
- Develop content ideas and write and curate content, pitches, and support materials.
- Research relevant industry experts, competitors, target audience, and users and provide feedback from influencers and creators back into the product to enhance it for the company's community.
- Brainstorm new, creative approaches to influencer campaigns with the marketing team.
- Keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and influencers.
- Liaising with the marketing team to create and coordinate marketing strategies that work across different channels.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- 3 Plus years experience with a proven track record in working with influencers for consumer application and marketing teams.
- In-depth knowledge of the social media marketing industry and competitive landscape.
- Impeccable verbal and written communication skills and energetic and engaging presentation skills.
- Well organized with great time management skills and attention to detail.
- Outstanding project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills and networking aptitude.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications.
