Job Opportunity at Almarai: Senior Engineering Manager (Manufacturing) in Saudi Arabia

Almarai is offering a job opportunity as a Senior Engineering Manager in Al Kharj, Saudi Arabia. To maintain company asset by implementation of a total preventative Maintenance system that ensures complete operational availability to all departments as and when the business requires. He is to comply with agreed standards, budget and provisions as set down by the business. To meet management performance Targets as set by the business, ensuring all Plant and equipment is in an optimal condition at all times and complying with standards and costs.

Some Areas of responsibility:

• To plan and execute planned preventative maintenance in all his Departments to meet the demands of the business
• Assist the project team in all related issues. Ensuring they meet the agreed specification and time scale.
• To ensure compliance of Quality procedures by meeting Site targets for continuous improvement.
• To ensure full implementation of Safety systems and safe practices of work by continually upgrading safety awareness and practices within Departments teams.
• To adhere to financial procedures by controlling spares and expenditure.
• Identify and plan staff development. Ensuring technical skills meet the Business needs today and going forward.

• Minimum: HND or HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. (UK Standards) and a minimum seven years experience in industry (ideally manufacturing) in a similar position.
• Minimum 7 Years Engineering Management experience in a similar role. Working with a multi skilled workforce with a Food industry background is essential. Extensive knowledge Engineering Plant, equipment and control systems including research design and development of automated equipment
• Strong bias in Reliability Engineering and machinery design for reliability
• Hands on maintenance experience with a career that started on the shop floor.
• Very detailed understanding of the measurement and management of asset reliability data - ideally a Certified Asset Reliability Practitioner or CMRP
• Have hands on experience working with or implementing a FMECA or RCM program with excellent demonstrable RCA skills.
• Various condition monitoring technologies such as vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasound etc.
• Knowledge includes an appreciation for fabrication and machining techniques
• IOSH (managing safely) or NEBOSH certified.
