Aramex is offering a Job Opportunity: Warehouse Supervisor. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a well-organized and safe work environment, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Ultimately, this role aims to enhance productivity, minimize operational costs, and ensure timely delivery of products to meet customer demands.
Duties & responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments.
- Develop and optimize warehouse processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Manage scheduling and allocation of resources, including labor and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and procurement, to streamline operations.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure efficient workflow.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff on operational procedures and safety protocols.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods within the warehouse.
- Implement and enforce safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of warehouse facilities and equipment.
- Address and resolve any operational issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Analyze performance metrics and prepare reports for management review.
- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for staff.
- Foster a positive team environment and promote employee engagement.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers as needed.
- Implement best practices for inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Monitor and control warehouse costs, including labor and materials.

Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations or supply chain management.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehousing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software.
- Ability to analyze data and generate performance reports.
