Opportunity description
Bank ABC in Jordan is offering a Job opportunity as a Senior IT Auditor.
Duties & responsibilities
- Evaluate the design and effectiveness of applications, network, infrastructure, general IT controls, and identify weaknesses and risks.
- Evaluate implemented controls over BCM process, procedures, and entities.
- Conduct audit interviews with auditees and review fieldwork evidences and draft issues to ensure observations factuality.
- Translate findings into clear, concise reports and high-quality working papers.
- Ensure continuous communication with audit manager to provide regular updates on audit process/ tasks’ timeline and deadlines.
- Utilize data analytics tools (BI tools) to visualize data for audit purposes.
- Ensure owned technical skills are always advancing and are being kept in line international best practice.
- Build strong relationship with auditees and foster a collaborative audit environment.
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer engineering or equivalent.
- CISA certification.
- Familiar with IT Governance, Risk and compliance frameworks (COBIT, ITIL, NIST Cybersecurity Framework).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent English conversation and technical writing.
- Proactively leverage knowledge and skill strength of colleagues.
- 5 plus years of IT audit experience
About the Job:
This role requires working closely with IT audit manager to deliver the department goals and objectives. This role has the responsibility to conduct all stages of IT audit engagements.
