Bank of Jordan is offering a Job opportunity in Jordan as a Data Analyst.
Duties & responsibilities
- Collect and analyze large sets of data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Develop statistical models and algorithms to predict and assess risks.
- Work closely with risk management teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Create reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough assessments of model performance and propose improvements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to risk management.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in risk analytics and modeling.
- Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement risk management strategies.
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, or a related field. Master's or Ph.D. preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis or risk management, preferably in the financial industry.
- Strong proficiency in statistical analysis tools and programming languages such as R or Python.
- Experience building and validating statistical models and algorithms.
- Knowledge of risk management principles, frameworks, and regulations.
- Ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets using SQL or other data manipulation languages.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
