Opportunity description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Content Manager to lead our content operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing a content team, optimizing for SEO, ensuring editorial quality, and leveraging reporting and analytics tools to drive strategic decisions. This is a strategic and hands-on role where you will be responsible for the overall performance and quality of our content.
Duties & responsibilities
Team & Workflow Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of writers, editors, and content contributors.
- Assign tasks, set editorial calendars, and oversee content workflows.
- Ensure timely and high-quality content delivery aligned with For9a’s goals and tone of voice.
Content Strategy & SEO
- Develop and implement content strategies to grow organic traffic and engagement.
- Collaborate with SEO specialists to optimize existing and new content.
- Perform keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Ensure proper internal linking, meta data, structure, and schema implementation.
Quality Assurance
- Define and enforce editorial standards and quality guidelines.
- Review and approve published content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and relevance.
- Conduct regular audits of existing content for quality, accuracy, and performance.
Analytics & Reporting
- Use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar to track performance.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports on content KPIs including traffic, rankings, conversions, and engagement.
- Analyze performance data to inform content planning and optimization strategies.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product, design, marketing, and development teams to align content with business priorities.
- Support the development of SEO landing pages, campaigns, and multilingual content strategies.
Eligibility criteria
- 2+ years of experience in content management, preferably in digital media, education, or opportunity platforms.
- Proven experience managing a content or editorial team.
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush).
- Solid experience with content management systems (CMS), especially WordPress or similar.
- Familiarity with HTML, metadata, schema markup, and basic technical SEO.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills in Arabic and English.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in data analysis and performance tracking.
- Experience with tools like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, or similar reporting tools.
- High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Nice to Have
- Experience in multilingual content strategy.
- Familiarity with AI content tools and automation.
- Background in the education or nonprofit sector.
