Opportunity description
Google is offering a Job Opportunity as a Product Engineer in USA.
Duties & responsibilities
- Lead and guide SMEs to ensure the product meets our specifications.
- Ensure manufacturing sites are prepared for product builds ahead of time.
- Provide on site support and lead defect correction efforts post build.
- Work with the Product Quality Engineer to establish product quality and reliability goals.
- Validate product qualification plans, support product qualification testing and review product qualification test results to ensure product performance meets requirements.
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in electrical devices, fabrication processes, Test, DFx, Quality, or reliability engineering.
- Experience working with Original Device Manufacturers (ODMs), Contract Manufacturers (CM) and suppliers to lead root cause analysis, corrective actions and process improvements.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 10 years of experience working at a company developing supply chains, manufacturing and test for new server and storage type products for the IT industry.
- Experience in data analytics and quality data systems.
- Experience in creating and executing a Design Validation Test Plan on an electronic assembly.
