Job Opportunity at Hospitality Digital in Germany as a Senior Accountant

Hospitality Digital is offering a job opportunity in Düsseldorf, Germany as a Senior Accountant. To achieve your goals in this role you are as enthusiastic about hospitality and as excited for digital disruption and success as we are.   

• Accounting and valuation: You will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS/HGB and for the valuations of our numerous portfolio companies.
• Collaboration: You work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g. various countries, Metro Group Accounting) as well as with external contacts such as auditors.
• Payment transactions: You are responsible for invoice verification, account assignment and posting and thus ensure smooth payment transactions in close cooperation with our local banks.
• Taxes: You will be responsible for the taxation of complex issues in close cooperation with the central tax department, the preparation of the advance VAT return and the communication with the tax office. 
• Optimisation: You contribute to the further development of all accounting processes and identify potential for automation

1. You have a degree (in the relevant field) and several years of professional experience in financial accounting
2. You have already worked for several years in a German or international company and are keen to contribute your knowledge to a digital company
3. SAP, Tagetik and Excel skills are beneficial
4. Very good knowledge of English is necessary, other languages are beneficial
