Microsoft is offering a job opportunity in Jordan as a Support Engineer - Machine Learning. The Azure Machine Learning Support Engineering team is part of Microsoft Customer Services and Support organization, meant to help and support our customers run and deploy their AI/ML workload in Azure Machine Learning service and build innovative AI based solutions.

1. Responsible for customer support experience with Microsoft
2. Own, troubleshoot and solve customer technical issues, using collaboration, troubleshooting best practices and transparency within and across teams (e.g., swarming)
3. Identify cases that require escalation (either technically or strategically)
4. Create and maintain incident management requests to product group or engineering group
5. Contribute to case deflection initiatives, automation and other digital self-help assets to improve customer and engineer experience
6. Drive technical collaboration and engagement outside of CSS (Product Engineering teams, Services, Support, Regions)
7. Lead or participate in building communities with peer delivery roles; may be workload or specialty specific

Technical Skills:

1. Experience deploying robust APIs in production environments (ideally cloud-based environments such as Azure or AWS, GCP).
2. Proficiency in deploying and troubleshooting containers (Docker) and container orchestration systems (Kubernetes a must).
3. Experience with at least one programming language popular in the ML ecosystem (preferably Python).
4. An understanding of the importance of CI/CD pipelines and how to set them up. Have experience and/or strong interest in building and deploying machine learning applications.
5. Exposure to machine learning concepts (feature engineering, text classification, and time series prediction) and interest in learning more.
6. Experience in building and troubleshooting issues with at least one of cloud networking architectures (Azure, AWS, or GCP)

Good to have:

1. Working experience with classical machine learning and deep learning models, and libraries like Scikit-learn, Pytorch, Tensorflow
2. Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters On-premises or Cloud
3. Experience with distributed deep learning training (or interest in learning) GPU/multi-GPU (scaling, monitoring GPU metrics, hardware-specific GPU optimization) production deep learning
