Opportunity description

Orange is offering a full-time job opportunity as a Tech Integration Management Engineer to join the team in Cairo, Egypt. 

Duties & responsibilities

  1. Validate the detailed technical design of complex VPN Implementations.
  2. Accountable for the right-on-time and right-first-time error-free for basic & full configuration for new implementations for MPLS & SD-WAN connections.
  3. Perform provisioning & meshing function for new implementations.
  4. Perform router configuration, activation and acceptance testing for new implementations (Organic growth) with field engineers.
  5. Specify with the customer and internal requestor the acceptance testing procedures for complex VPN changes.
  6. Document the VPN design and make it available to the operational entities in case needed.
  7. Provide expert support to pre-sales and project managers on VPN change management requests on case-by-case basis.
  8. Meet the targets set by the management with regards to: customer satisfaction, right on time, first time success rate & productivity.
  9. Supporting the management of multiple projects.

Eligibility criteria

  1. Degree in telecommunication and/or computer sciences engineering field.
  2. More than 4 years of experience in networks & telecommunications field and/or in an operational IP environment.
  3. Cisco CCNA and CCNP (or other equivalent professional level of certification) is a must. CCIE written is a plus.
  4. Solid knowledge in the following topics: MPLS, QoS/CoS, IPv4, IPv6, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Metro Ethernet, IPSec & ADSL.
  5. Good knowledge of SDN, VNF, uCPE.
  6. Good knowledge of SD-WAN (Cisco Solutions)
  7. Good knowledge of Riverbed & SteelConnect
  8. Good knowledge of Zscaler.
  9. Python programing language is a plus

  4. Ability to work under pressure and multitasking.
  5. Proactive and self-motivated.
  6. Team Spirit.
  7. Ability to work on out of business hours, based on customer requests.
  8. Fluent in both spoken and written English is a must.
