Opportunity description

P&G is looking for an Account Executive to join its team in Mumbai, India. As a Senior Sales Manager, the candidate will directly receive meaningful responsibilities as of day one. The candidate will maintain and expand a long-term partnership with the customer by continuously proposing solutions and plans to meet their objectives. To do so, the candidate will develop a keen understanding of the product categories and markets.

While building the plans, the candidate will develop his negotiating and sales skills, and his financial & marketing skills, analytical insights, and logistical understanding as he is responsible for his client from A-Z.

The candidate will be part of a customer team in which trust, team spirit, a real passion for winning, and leadership are very important.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining a productive long-term relationship with the customer.
  • Acquire a deep understanding of customer's needs and requirements.
  • Acquire an in-depth understanding of shoppers, categories, and markets.
  • Adapting and optimizing country commercial guidelines to his specific client.
  • Negotiating contracts, promo plans, and innovations.
  • Preparing volume forecast and plans.
  • Collaborating very closely with teams from other departments.
  • Resolve any issues and problems of clients and act as a link between customers and the internal teams.

Eligibility criteria

  • Master's Degree with 5 – 6 years of meaningful Sales experience in FMCG environment (Preferred)
  • A leader and passionate to make things happen, collaborating well with diverse groups of people.
  • Have an external focus and a real passion for Sales/ Marketing.
  • Like to bring creativity & innovation to his work.
  • Strong analytical thinking and skills.
