Job Opportunity at TikTok in UAE: Security Operations Manager– METAP

TikTok is offering a job opportunity in UAE as a Security Operations Manager – METAP. The team supports the management and delivery of physical security operations, programs, and personnel in our growing Middle East, Turkey, Africa, and Pakistan (METAP) region (encompassing multiple countries, cities, and/or sites), while helping to promote a robust and positive security culture across the company.

1. Support the delivery of day-to-day physical security operations across multiple sites, including overseeing the deployment of local teams (guard, reception, and/or SOC services) commensurate with the risk profile and operational demands of each site.
2. Ensure site risk assessment documentation remains accurate and up-to-date.
3. Respond to physical security incidents at sites within the region, including incident reporting and after-action-reviews, and where necessary, conduct robust investigations to effectively assess and triage.
4. Plan and lead physical security onboarding and training of security personnel at sites within the region to ensure highly professional and consistent service delivery.
5. Support the management of guarding vendors.
6. Ensure high quality operational vendor performance in line with key performance indicators (KPIs) and support with invoices and purchase requisitions/orders.

1. 5+ years of experience in corporate security (as a contractor or full-time employee), with at least 2+ years in a security management role.
2. Undergraduate/Master's degree (and/or equivalent experience).
3. Experience managing security operations across multiple sites with a track record of high performance and increasing responsibilities.
4. Technically astute with working knowledge of physical access control systems, video management systems, and visitor management systems.
5. Ability to update and maintain robust site documentation including checklists, post orders, and standard operating procedures.
6. Experience supporting new office security deliverables (e.g. Conducting risk assessments, high-level design of access control, CCTV and other technical security controls).
7. Experience participating in guarding RFPs and supervising contract personnel, including hiring, training, developing, and managing performance.
8. Skilled operator comfortable dealing with a variety of acute incidents.
9. Experience supporting business events (e.g. venue risk assessments).
10. Excellent verbal and written ability with strong stakeholder management skills.
11. Sound problem-solving skills and comfortable working under pressure and delivering within tight timeframes.
12. Ability to travel to other offices, sometimes at short notice; respond to emergencies after-hours; and to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as operational needs demand.
13. Other languages spoken a plus.
