Job Opportunity at TRT as a Producer/ Presenter in Turkey

TRT World is offering a job opportunity, as it is hiring a Producer/Presenter, Context and Digital Shows that will be working under the Executive Producer, and will be responsible for scripting, presenting and hosting digital videos in an engaging manner. 

The Producer/Presenter will also be expected to undertake a role in the production process — especially with regards to sourcing visuals and music and preparing interviews. The Producer/Presenter will work as part of a team.

1. Host and present selected pieces of video content from start to finish
2. Create accurate, concise and engaging content using creative storytelling techniques
3. Conceive, pitch and execute story ideas
4. Prepare scripts
5. Actively participate in meetings and discussions
6. Develop sound communications strategies
7. Meet deadlines as assigned
8. Ensure that content produced is consistent with TRT World editorial guidelines

1. Sound editorial judgment of global issues,
2. A passion and commitment to the spirit of journalism
3. An understanding of the demands of the 24-hour news cycle
4. Good on-screen presence
5. Ability to work long, flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities
6. Skillful at hosting live discussions
7. Good command of English (speaking, writing, reading)
