Opportunity description
Vectrus is offering a job opportunity as a Warehouse Supervisor in Qatar.
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising daily operations ensuring safe and efficient storage, retrieval, and dispatch of supplies and equipment.
Duties & responsibilities
- Supervises receipt of all shipments.
- Process receiving, discrepancy, and damage reports as needed.
- Assumes responsibility for delivery of all items received by warehouse to proper section on a daily basis.
- Evaluates complaints received on shipments of equipment and supplies and takes appropriate action.
- Runs daily reports in MAXIMO and evaluates the stockage level and stock on hand to determine actions required.
Eligibility criteria
Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
- Must be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a U. S. Government Motor Vehicle Operator’s License and host nation Driver’s License, is required.
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification from a nationally/internationally accredited agency is required within 60 days of hire.
Experience:
- One to three years experience with the Inventory Management of the Army Supply Systrem (IMASS) program preferred
- Three to six years experience in warehouse/supply operations; with at least two years in a lead or supervisory role preferred.
Skills:
- Must exhibit strong organization and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload and responsibilities.
- Detail-Oriented with a high degree of accuracy is required.
- Must be capable of effectively communicating technical information in English, both written and verbal and have a customer service background.
Supervisory/Budget Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership, supervision, guidance, and direction to a multinational team in support of the LOGCAP mission.
- May have budget responsibilities (APF & NAF) in coordination with the Warehouse Manager.
