P&G is currently looking for strategic leaders and analytical thinkers to join its sales team as account executives. At P&G, the sales organization is key to managing the P&G business and the relationships with Canada’s largest retailers. When you join the sales team at P&G, you do more than “sell” as from day 1, you will become a strategy consultant, working with the largest retailers on the biggest brands in Canada. You will draw on creative and data-driven insights to develop winning business plans for your customer and manage a multi-million dollar budget to bring your ideas to life. From shelving assortment to product showcases to in-store marketing, you will get the satisfaction of seeing your work come to life in the Canadian market, and potentially beyond.
Duties & responsibilities
As an account executive, you will:
- Manage the P&G business and its relationships with Canada’s biggest retailers.
- Use proprietary research, industry and brand understanding, and real data to create and deliver business plans to your customers.
- Manage a multi-million dollar budget to execute and bring your ideas to life in the marketplace.
- Influence customers' decisions in critical business areas by using conceptual selling techniques and data-based presentations.
- Develop distribution, pricing, shelving, and merchandising strategies based on consumer research that provides insight into what drives shopper purchase behavior.
- Join the company's dynamic selling teams and work closely with colleagues across multiple functions: Brand Management, Supply Network Operations, and Finance.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- From 0 to 3 years of experience after graduation from a post-secondary institution.
- Possess natural leadership and business skills, demonstrated in academic/extracurricular activities and prior work experiences.
- Strong communication skills that will enable you to thrive in a challenging and dynamic work environment.
- Enjoy analyzing data and thinking critically to uncover insights that will help influence business decisions.
- Tenacity and an entrepreneurial spirit, and are passionate about winning.
- A team player and enjoy collaborating with a diverse group of professionals, turning them into an effective and powerful team.
- A demonstrated track record of initiative, innovation, and creativity.
- The account executives at the company possess broad skill sets and diverse leadership experiences as it hires top talent from a variety of disciplines and areas of specialization.
