Opportunity description

Google is offering a job opportunity as an Education Account Manager to join the team in Montreal and Quebec in Canada for 2021. The Google for Education team is on the front lines of helping education institutions transform learning. As a member of the team, you’ll help us promote Google tools like Google Workspace for Education and Chrome to educational institutions, individually and at scale, helping them make learning more equitable, collaborative, and personalized. With a passion for Google products and transforming education, you will help enhance education.

Duties & responsibilities

  1. Manage a business pipeline promoting Google for Education solutions to K-12 customers in North America.
  2. Manage a pipeline of accounts, building relationships, promoting the value of technology to different types of stakeholders, and building solutions and closing agreements through the partner ecosystem.
  3. Manage a large number of accounts at scale and leveraging channel relationships to increase business achievement.
  4. Manage existing Google for Education customers ensuring a positive relationship with Google and assisting them in continued adoption of Google technologies.

Eligibility criteria

  1. 2 years of direct client/partner sales or business development experience.
  2. 2 years of work experience in a related field (Account Management, Sales, Operations).
  3. Experience in either the Education or Government Industry.
  4. Ability to speak and write in French Canadian fluently.

Preferred qualifications:

  1. 5 years of selling experience in hardware/software sales with proven track record in inside and/or outside sales.
  2. Experience in education technology sales.
  3. Demonstrated experience navigating institutions with complex decision making environment.
  4. Ability to manage the entire sales process and experience leveraging channel for success.
  5. Excellent communications capabilities.
  6. Ability to manage in high activity environment, and engage at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally.
