Unifonic offers a job opportunity in Egypt as a Technical Services Engineer. The Engineering team at Unifonic is looking for a Tech-Savvy Technical Services Engineer to be involved in assuring the performance, stability, and reliability of Unifonic's infrastructure, applications, and operations through actively monitoring systems, troubleshooting, analyzing, and solving technical problems, and working with customers and the company technical teams to resolve technical and application roadblocks. You will be making sure all issues are resolved or escalated to the proper resources to resolve in a timely fashion.
Duties & responsibilities
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage infrastructure, network, and technical application issues on a daily basis, including verifying issues, isolating and diagnosing the problem, and resolving the issue where possible.
- Reproduce technical issues to determine the root cause of the problem to find workarounds and solutions.
- Write scripts to automate operations and server management.
- Coordinate with other teams to provide assistance in identifying, reporting, and resolving defects.
- Author, edit, publish, and maintain an online knowledge base of known issues/solutions.

Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Hands-on 5+ years of recent experience in a customer-facing role with shifts or being on call working with Linux, AWS, and Networking (Cisco... etc).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to methodically solve business and technical, and performance problems using innovative approaches.
- Proven experience working with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure), Linux, Networks, Telecommunication Protocols (SIP, SMPP).
- Understanding of web technologies (APIs, HTTP... etc).
- Fluent in English with excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills.
