Aramex is offering a Job Opportunity in Egypt: Air Freight Specialist.
Duties & responsibilities
- Coordinating with sales team, agents & Aramex offices to ensure all RFQ’s are answered & ensure to achieve their target.
- Communicate to sales, agents & Aramex offices for any new offers and/or promotions that customers can benefit from.
- Maintain good relationship with vendors (airlines, trucking suppliers, packing companies).
- Up-load all quotations on system.
- Follow day to day shipments with airlines & vendors.
- Follow the payment flow to airlines & vendors in case any delays or discrepancies.
- Interfere with accounting team to facilitate any payment issues for vendors & airlines.
- Follow the files closing closely with invoicing & settle the cases showing losses.
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor’sdegree in logistics field will be preferable.
- 1-3 years relevant working experience (Air freight Sector is a must).
- Minimum 1 year experience with directly handling airline bookings.
- Good working knowledge in MS Office applications, especially MS Word and MS Excel.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel intermediates to advance formulas and macros.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong coordination skills among various work groups and with different levels.
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to do overtime during certain time of the year.
- Work location in airport, so preferred residential nearby.
