ABB offers a job opportunity in Germany as a Field Service Engineer. You must be a strong communicator and have the ability to combine technical expertise with an interest in providing services as the company relies on your sensitivity in dealing with customers, for whom you are the first point of contact. Based in Mannheim with assignments regionally and throughout Germany. Sporadically also Europe-wide and global for a short time.

You will be responsible for:

• Identifying faults and malfunctions and initiating countermeasures.
• Carrying out commissioning, maintenance and modernization projects.
• Execution and monitoring of agreed services of service orders as well as root cause analysis in case of warranty cases.
• Collaboration in modernization projects from planning to implementation.

You must have:

• University degree or technical training in the field of electronics.
• Ideally with first professional experience, The company is also happy to give newcomers a chance.

• Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken skills.
