Opportunity description
Aramex offers a job opportunity in Jordan as a data analytics specialist.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Using statistical tools to interpret data sets, and identifying trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
- Facilitate and support data cleansing projects and govern the data entry practices to ensure the integrity of data.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommend system modifications, and develop policies for data governance.
- Create appropriate documentation for the stakeholders, including data standards, procedures, and definitions for the data dictionary.
- Accountable for data access, updates, correction, and general administration of data interfaces used in the business.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Certified Mastery in Excel (queries, pivot tables, VBA, fuzzy lookups, and vlookups).
- Familiarity with the main data manipulation languages ( eg. SQL ) and the principles of database design and relational models necessary.
- From 0 to 2 years of relevant working experience is desirable.
- Understanding of data visualization techniques & tools (Power BI).
- Understanding cloud-based data services (eg, Salesforce.com) and Tableau is desirable.
- Data analytical skills and capability to interpret data.
- Logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer centricity and keen attention to detail.
- English language proficiency.
