Job Opportunity in Jordan as a Grants Coordinator at NRC

NRC offers a job opportunity in Jordan as a Grants Coordinator. You will contribute to achieving quality programming by closely supporting the grants manager in ensuring effective grants management including internal and donor compliance requirements, timely and quality reporting, as well as proposal development. You will be directly responsible for supporting Project Managers and Program Specialists in the development of reports and for applying NRC's PCM framework throughout all stages of the program cycle. You further support Program teams with proactive fundraising by maintaining a repository of tools and information on donor priorities and available assessments and research.

You will be responsible for:

1. Adherence to NRC policies, guidance, and procedures.
2. Develop and maintain an overview of all grants, donor requirements, rules and regulations, and internal and external deadlines, including the filing of grant documents (including through the grants database).
3. Coordinate the development of donor applications and reports, as well as ensure donor compliance and quality control.
4. Provide an internal help desk on donor-related issues, including organizing and delivering training in donor rules and regulations, as well as proposal and report writing.
5. Document, analyze, and share learning from the proposal and reporting process, and compliance with donor rules and regulations.
6. Contribute to continuously improving internal grant management systems.
7. Coordinate the development and distribution of internal reports.
8. Contribute to PCM training and usage of the NRC PCM framework in the CO as delegated by the Head of the Program.
9. Support external donor audits.
10. Promote the rights of IDPs/returnees in line with the advocacy strategy.
11. Lead the development of high-quality reports, ensuring consistency between narrative and financial reports, as well as with the M&E database.
12. Maintain internal grant management system and ensure they are up to date.
13. Provide guidance to program and support colleagues on donor compliance and maintain donor information in internal grant management systems up to date, ensuring donor templates are readily available.
14. Schedule, organize, and record PCM meetings in compliance with NRC’s PCM framework. Review and ensure all mandatory internal documents are in place as per NRC’s Jordan PCM toolkit.
15. Support with capacity building of staff on donor rules and regulations, including the update of donor rules and regulations handouts, reporting, and PCM toolkit.

You must have:

1. Between 3-5 years of relevant experience within the field of expertise.
2. Experience from working with humanitarian and development donors.
3. Good understanding of donor rules and regulations.
4. Skills and experience in report and proposal writing.
5. Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
6. Strong analytical skills (data and financial).
7. Ability to mediate in high-stress scenarios with competing interests.
8. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
9. Above-average computer skills.
