Leaders of Tomorrow, in partnership with the German International Cooperation, is looking for an experienced Mentor to guide a group of competing teams and participate in the Hackathon Challenge, with the aim of developing educational solutions that serve the educational system in the early education stage in Jordan. The activities of the mentoring sessions will be held online in the first stage, and then in the field in the main competition stage until the day of presentation of projects before the jury.
Duties & responsibilities
- The supervisor will work for a total of (5 working days) to prepare and present short online and offline sessions for the contestants participating in the challenge in order to help them formulate their project ideas in a better way and qualify for the other stages of the challenge.
- The expert will be responsible for providing guidance to the contestants in the field of education and early education in Jordan, what should be taken into consideration to design ideas and solutions aimed at supporting this sector, with reference to the official curriculum adopted for kindergartens in Jordan and the needs of the target age group.
- The challenge will be to design educational solutions, activities and tools that serve children in kindergarten, as well as children with special needs and children from different backgrounds such as refugees.
Eligibility criteria
- Educational background in education or early education.
- At least 5 years of experience in the field of early education in Jordan.
- Experience in the field of inclusive education for vulnerable groups in the early education stage in Jordan.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring.
- Experience in preparing and developing curricula or educational materials.
