Ooredoo is looking to hire a Social Media Manager to lead and implement innovative digital campaigns that boost brand presence and contribute to increased sales and revenue. The role involves managing the social media team, coordinating with agencies, building relationships with customers and influencers, and analyzing overall campaign performance.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Manage the social media team and execution agencies, ensuring top performance.

  • Develop and implement social media strategies and digital campaign plans.

  • Monitor and analyze social media platform performance and suggest improvements.

  • Coordinate with content, IT, influencer, and media teams to ensure successful campaigns.

  • Manage relationships with stakeholders (customers, vendors, internal teams).

  • Engage with online communities and build an active, loyal audience.

  • Track campaign effectiveness and produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.

  • Support the creation of visual content (images, videos) for social platforms.

  • Monitor accounts and respond to inquiries and comments professionally.

  • Coordinate regularly with departments like sales, branches, marketing, IT, and customer care for the latest updates.

  • Suggest enhancements based on market trends and customer needs.

  • Contribute to building and strengthening the brand’s digital identity.

  • Perform additional tasks that support the company’s strategic objectives.

Eligibility criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Media, Advertising, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 to 6 years of experience in digital marketing and social media, preferably in the telecommunications sector.

  • Genuine passion for social media and deep knowledge of various digital platforms.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).

  • Fluent in both Arabic and English, written and spoken.

  • Strong analytical, presentation, creative, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a multicultural, multinational environment.
