Opportunity description

Qatar Airways offers a job opportunity in Qatar as a Manager for Key Accounts in the field of Tourism & Specialty. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Global Sales team and help the company to grow and deepen its relationship with tourism promotion entities around the globe. You will expand Qatar Airways footprint, plan and execute campaigns with a sharp focus on delivering sales results, promptly and in alignment with the wider commercial priorities. You will work closely with Head Office, Commercial, Marketing, Revenue Management, and local markets to develop and implement B2B and B2C projects such as trade workshops, sales missions, familiarization trips, trade and consumer promotions, and various co-marketing activities in collaboration with tourism entities. You will analyze complex data, extract insights and tap into market intelligence to design commercial activities with key trade partners which lead to an increase in awareness and revenue. You will conduct continuous research into market trends, customer preferences, and competitive activities to develop creative and dynamic sales & marketing approaches.

Duties & responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  1. Develop strong customer relationships that deliver impactful results on ambitious annual targets.
  2. Achieve and exceed the assigned revenue target and personal revenue target for each financial year.
  3. Initiate and drive negotiations by conducting regular reviews with clients, to understand your requirements and provide them with competitive options to drive maximum revenue.
  4. Lead and participate in negotiations with new and existing clients to optimize the full potential of an air partnership, beneficial to both parties.
  5. Effectively manage and drive the performance of existing line of business and source new business opportunities through active management to develop quality revenue.

Eligibility criteria

You must have:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (MBA or Master's preferred).
  • 6+ years of experience working with National Tourism Boards/Entities globally.
  • Possess B2B experience at a global level.
  • Possess skills in analysis and interpreting analysis for business decisions.
  • Possess ability to manage multiple external accounts in various stages of development.
  • Exceptional communication & presentation skills.
  • Possess the ability to work under pressure & independently.
