Duties & responsibilities
- Contribute and implement approved departmental policies & procedures and ensure adherence with the processes implemented so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
- Track day-to-day operations assigned for the function to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures and agreed service level agreements
- Supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area is carried out in an efficient manner and in compliance with the set policies, processes and procedures.
- Carry out detailed technical planning, system analysis and design for the assigned areas of the work in hand; delegating less complex tasks to team members as part of capability building and training
- Prepare a work programme for the team, assign tasks and responsibilities and monitor the progress accordingly.
- Carry out adjustments or customization to the system in-line with users’ requirements in complex issues.
- Train and coach subordinates to develop their application development skills and motivate them to work to their best potential.
- Plan solutions and solve more complex IT issues.
- Contribute to the preparation of the section budget and ensure that the activities within this section are implemented and processed as per the assigned budget.
- Be responsible for departments documentation review and approvals as first level of approvals as First quality check level.
- Comply with all relevant safety, quality, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or any relevant field.
- (0-2) years of experience is required.
