Job Opportunity in Saudi as a Compliance Specialist

Unifonic offers a job opportunity in Saudi as a Compliance Specialist. The Legal team is building, maintaining, and strengthening the company’s compliance with laws and regulations in the MENA region and as varied by expansion into new markets and new product launches. You will work closely with all business functions to ensure the projects are delivered to time, cost, and quality. You must be an expert at communicating compliance issues to internal stakeholders and have an astute focus on assisting in driving forward the Company’s compliance program and initiatives that support and enable the compliance goals.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Research industry compliance regulations and policies and evaluate internal operational and procedural compliance.
• Maintain legal and regulatory compliance through communicating requirements, obtaining approvals, and training stakeholders.
• Analyze and update existing compliance policies and related documentation.
• Develop and execute new compliance policies and procedures as required.
• Develop and maintain a compliance record keeping system.
• Train employees on industry compliance requirements.
• Keep up with compliance requirements and amendments to regulations.
• Work with other team members to prepare detailed project plans, determine resource allocation, deliverable timelines, and possible issues.
• Monitor every step of the project with reference to overall plans and deliverable deadlines.
• Contribute to the creation of and maintaining project documentation, ensure the correct project documentation and approvals are secured in a timely manner according to the delivery framework.
• Report on project progress, highlighting any issues or challenges.

You must have:

• Hands-on 4+ years of experience as a Compliance Analyst or Specialist within the enterprise-level organization.
• Strong experience in both reviewing and drafting policies and documentation in both Arabic and English.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or Management field.
• Compliance management or project management certification is a plus.
• Experience in international standards and local regulatory requirements related to telecommunications, data protection, and data localization.
• Ability to effectively plan, manage and complete projects in line with stakeholders’ needs and expectations, and organizational strategic objectives.
• Advanced analytical abilities.
• Ability to effectively train employees and build meaningful relationships at all levels within an organization.
• Effective research and professional networking skills.
• Ability to accurately complete applications for compliance certification.
• Project management experience within a large organization.
• Experience in complex reporting.
• Excellent time management skills to meet client or company demands and deadlines.
• Proven experience balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity.
• Diligent attention to detail.
• Fluent in English and Arabic with excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills.
