Al Futtaim offers a job opportunity in Saudi as a Department Manager. You will be responsible to take the lead, inspire and motivate the team to deliver a great customer experience to grow sales.

You will be responsible for:

• Use all available information to make decisions through the eyes of the customer.
• Communicate and engage effectively with customers, role-modelling a great customer experience.
• Identify talent and use tools and talent programs to support personal growth.
• Understand the impact you have on sales, costs and profit.
• Utilize all available tools and systems to maximize sales and profit.
• Ensure product/project availability is maximized at all times.
• A full understanding of the processes relevant to your role and store.
• Take personal responsibility for operating in a safe and legally compliant way.
• Adhere to all policies & procedures relevant to your role.
• You may be required to undertake other duties from time to time as the company may reasonably require.

You must have:

• High school education or equivalent is preferred.
• 4+ years department manager experience with a proven track record for driving sales, profit, training and developing a team of individuals, ideally in retail and home improvement industry.
• Strong experience in any of these product categories: Decor, DIY, Garden, Outdoor or Home Living.
• Good command of business English (written and verbal).
• Good computer skills (Outlook, Excel & SAP) and detailed report analysis skills.
• Strong level of numeracy & literacy.
• Leadership and people management skills.
• Strong commercial and store operational experience.
• Understanding of customer experience journey.
