Jumairah Hotels offers a job opportunity in UAE as a Cook at the Cafeteria. You will join the Food & Beverage Department in Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Prepares and cooks various items according to menus, special dietary or nutritional requirements, or numbers of portions to be served.
- Apportions and serves food to employees.
- Washes cooking equipment such as pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and other pieces.
- Ensures the cleanliness and functional operation of galley equipment, kitchen appliances, and work areas by routinely cleaning and inspecting each piece.
- Keeping track of the inventory.
- Keeping contact with the suppliers and ordering the necessary stock.
Eligibility criteria
You must have the following experience and qualifications:
- Food and Hygiene Training
- Previous experience in a similar type of establishment.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Works well under pressure.
- Demonstrates flexibility in working according to the needs of the business.
