Job Opportunity in UAE as a Data Analytics Manager at Unifonic

Unifonic offers a job opportunity in UAE as a Data Analytics Manager. You will lead the team of analytics experts, designing, building, expanding, and optimizing the data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross-functional teams. You must be experienced data pipeline builder and data wrangler who enjoys optimizing data systems and building them from the ground up and support the software developers, data analysts, and data scientists on data initiatives and is ensuring optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout the organization. You must be excited by the prospect of optimizing or even re-designing the company’s data architecture to support the next generation of products and data initiatives.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Propose & deploy a data architecture design like data lake, data warehouse, ETL tools etc.
• Fix data anomalies of all major input sources i.e. SMS transactional data.
• Help in building a fully functional data engineering team.

You Must-Have:

• Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases incl. NoSQL.
• Experience building and optimizing 'big data' pipelines, architectures, and data sets incl. design of data lakes & data warehouses.
• A successful history of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large disconnected datasets.
• Working knowledge of message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable ‘big data’ data stores.
• Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
• Experience with data pipeline and workflow management (ETL) tools: Airflow, Talend, AWS Glue, etc.
• Advanced knowledge of AWS cloud services: EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift, S3, etc.
• Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, C++, Scala, etc.

It's nice to have:

• Advanced knowledge in database engines, data lakes, data practices, and policies.
• Proven work experience as a Data Engineer, Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
