GEMS Education offers a job opportunity in UAE as a Head of Arabic and Islamic.

You will have the following job responsibilities:

Lead, manage, and be accountable for tracking progress, considering curriculum planning, supporting the Behaviour for Learning Policy, and speaking with parents to promote the fulfillment of the school’s vision in all MOE Subjects (Arabic, Islamic, and UAE Social Studies):

• Articulate a vision for your specialist area in the context of the school’s ethos and vision.
• Lead, manage, coordinate, maintain, develop, monitor, and evaluate the progress made for children within your specialist area.
• Make a full contribution to the processes of planning, resource management, policy development, and implementation across the school through the effective leadership and management of your specific specialist area.
• Make a full contribution to ensuring high expectations and standards in all aspects of school life.
• Be accountable to the relevant Senior Leader and ultimately the Principal/CEO.
• Contribute to the school’s Performance Development Program where appropriate.
• Promoting and ensuring student development, progress, and well-being.
• Leading teaching and learning and managing policy within the context of the year group.
• Leading and managing people and teams.
• Managing resources.

You must have:

• A certified leadership qualification, such as NPQSL, NPQH, or equivalent.
• A bachelor's degree in Arabic or Islamic – 3 or 4 years regular course.
• At least 3 years of post-qualifying proven experience.
