You must be passionate 360 marketing professional with strong experience in category management, trade marketing and developing digital strategies for multinational FMCG or Consumer Goods brands.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Work closely with the Country Head, Global HQ and distributor network to collect and analyse market share data, competitor activity and consumer trends, to develop and implement successful marketing strategies which meet company objectives and deliver return on investment.
- Build and allocate the marketing budget, presenting to stakeholders strategic marketing recommendations which aim to grow the brands presence and share within the market.
- In addition you will play a fundamental role in new product development planning, taking in to consideration promotional activity, merchandising, training, supporting marketing collateral, and brand activation strategy.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- A bachelors or above in marketing or related field, with a minimum of 4 years commercial experience in an FMCG/Consumer goods environment in a Brand Manager/Marketing Manager role.
- This role will manage French speaking Africa markets in addition to the Middle East therefore it is essential that you are bilingual English/French due to the requirements of the role.
- There will be a large amount of autonomy given therefore, you must be highly organized, proactive with a positive attitude and ability to effectively priority set and meet challenging deadline.
