Al-Futtaim offers a job opportunity in UAE as a Sales Engineer. You will create and update all sales-related MIS.
Duties & responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Achieve sales targets set by the management.
- Track and report the current status of potential projects, markets, Customer news, and developments.
- Lead the development and preparation of RFPs, Pre-Qualification, and formal presentations.
- Negotiate potential contract adaptations or extensions when needed.
- Manage and update all sales-related MIS.
- Developing sales strategies.
- Develops sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
- Perform market research and identify areas in which the division can introduce new/future services that could provide a competitive advantage and secure market share.
- Continually track market trends and developments and update the team.
- Preparing presentation based on client requirements.
- Coordinating marketing campaigns with sales activities.
- Customer service.
- Contribute to the development of customer-focused service and a positive corporate image, including the maintenance of good working relationships with clients, and client representatives.
- Achieve and enhance customer satisfaction by meeting and /or exceeding the customer requirements, SLAs.
- Collaborate; build strong trusted working relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the Senior Management to prepare and implement the company’s Marketing and Business Development Plan and strategy for meeting business goals.
- Liaise internally with other departments such as Commercial, Operation, Finance, and Human Resources.
- Act as a resource person for management with respect to sales and marketing issues.
- Punctuality, time management, and proper communication with engineers, managers, teams, and customers.
- Compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Living the company values.
- Play a key role to meet and enhance the customer requirement in line with the company’s policy and objective.
- Communicate effectively at all levels.
- Concern for the quality of one’s work, other workers, and the organization as whole.
Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Computer skills.
- UAE Driving License.
- High level of expertise in word, excel, PowerPoint.
- Significant research and analytical skills.
- Should be highly flexible and adaptable and able to work effectively with a multicultural workforce.
Minimum Experience:
- From 6 to 8 years of progressive business development, sales, and experience in a similar industry.
- From 4 to 5 years experience in GCC.
Job-Specific Skills:
- Be a highly organized and self-motivated person who can efficiently and effectively manage a wide range of tasks and objectives.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in order to deliver persuasive and effective presentations, sales pitches, networking, negotiations, internal communications, and relationship management.
- Budget and costing skills.
- Knowledge of computer-aided facilities management system (CAFM).
- Knowledge of UAE laws and regulations.
- Ability to identify the training needs of team members, coach and guide team for better employee engagement.
Behavioral skills:
- An excellent customer service attitude and the ability to interact with customers in a professional manner.
- Good communication skills with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally.
- Good interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills.
