Opportunity description

Aramex offers a job opportunity in UAE as a senior operations supervisor.

Duties & responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Performs operational procedure in a timely and efficient manner ensuring high levels of customer service/satisfaction.
  • Drives organization towards operational excellence by meeting the SLA’s/KPI’s for all customers and clients.
  • Assists and trains personnel to use warehouse systems (WMS), Data Quality Management System (DQMS), and order management systems.
  • Trains staff and direct reports on customized logistics procedures and requirements for new customers.
  • Sets KPI’s for direct reports and conducts periodic monthly and weekly reviews to ensure all staff is meeting and exceeding their KPIs.
  • Monitors and manages the team to ensure performance is up to standard.
  • Identifies’ direct reports training needs and proposes training needed to HR.
  • Ensures the processing of work orders in a timely & effective manner whilst ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Reports any information that might impact company image and brand or functioning.
  • Facilitates the flow of information both horizontally and vertically.
  • Ensures optimal team performance and leads staff to personal growth.
  • Utilizes available resources to meet customer’s SLAs.
  • Regularly performs audits on the team to ensure staff is following the SOP.
  • Adheres to company HSSE, compliance, and sustainability corporate policies, processes, and standards and further acts on all assigned outcomes of the quality audits.
  • Adheres to all shipping and handling legislations.
  • Ensures WMS is updated on time and accurately and as per the procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate stock levels and avoid discrepancies.
  • Runs the operations to avoid loss or damage related to human, customer goods, or facility.
