Job Opportunity in UAE as a Technical Support Controller

Alfuttaim offers a job opportunity in UAE as a Technical Support Controller.  

You will be responsible for:

• Prepare mechanical job orders for commercial vehicle repairs authorised by the Maintenance department. 
• Manage the Commercial Mechanical maintenance & repair of the Hertz fleet ensuring the most cost-effective method of repairs. 
• Record and advice management of poor service levels given suppliers that is detrimental to the level service Hertz provide to its customers. 
• Ensure that the repairs are done according to the expectations of customer at first time.
• Reduce the repeat repairs on the vehicles by strictly following the processes thereby enhancing the customer service values.  
• Monitor and control vehicle down time of the fleet within the maintenance cycle ensuring this is kept to a minimum reducing the cost of replacement vehicles while ensuring that vendors are meeting agreed TAT for Service/Mechanical Repairs.  
• Ensure that the queries of the fellow departments are replied at the earliest in order to inform them for proactively providing update/feedback to the customers.   
• Ensure that mechanical vehicles in the Maintenance process are tracked on a daily basis and ETA for vehicle delivery is shared through daily report of WIP vehicles.   
• Reduce the repeat repairs on the vehicles by strictly following the processes thereby enhancing the customer service values.   
• Ensure that Work orders are issued to vendors within the agreed SLA for mechanical jobs done.    

You must have:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge: 

• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate and interact at all levels. 
• Graduate/Diploma holder in Automobile Engineering with a minimum of 5 years experience in mechanical work in the Automotive Industry specializing in Heavy Commercial Vehicles and Commercial Vehicles with specialized fitments.

Minimum Experience: 

• 5 years of experience in a Commercial Vehicle Repair industry atmosphere will be an advantage.
