Opportunity description

We are looking for a highly motivated Sourcing and Production Officer to join our team. You will play a key role in identifying, onboarding, and supporting local artisans and suppliers, ensuring the quality and timely delivery of products. Your work will directly impact our platform's ability to offer unique and diverse handmade products while supporting the growth of our creative community.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Sourcing & Supplier Management

    • Identify and evaluate new artisan producers, suppliers, and raw material vendors.
      Build and maintain strong relationships with local creatives, producers, and manufacturers.

    • Conduct regular field visits and participate in craft markets and exhibitions to scout talent.

  • Production Oversight

    • Coordinate production timelines and ensure on-time delivery of products.

    • Monitor quality assurance processes and address any product or production issues.

    • Assist artisans in improving production capabilities, pricing strategies, and packaging quality.

  • Operational Support

    • Collaborate with the content, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure smooth product onboarding and fulfillment.

    • Assist in the content creation process, where needed, to make sure deadlines are met.

    • Track inventory, supply chain workflows, and procurement costs.

  • Training & Capacity Building

    • Provide workshops and one-on-one support to artisans to enhance their product presentation and production efficiency.

    • Offer guidance on sustainable and scalable production practices.

Eligibility criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Arts Management, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in sourcing, production coordination, or artisan support.
  • Strong knowledge of handmade products, local crafts, or creative industries is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within Jordan.
