Zain is offering a job opportunity as a Revenue Assurance and Fraud Manager in Manama, Bahrain, to perform and expand all activities of Revenue Assurance and Fraud Protection and ensure the effectiveness of the implemented controls and align with industry best practices.
Duties & responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the function strategy.
- Perform and implement required controls to identify potential leakages or unusual activity levels.
- Anticipate and mitigate the financial loss caused by fraudulent activities resulting from technical or process-related weaknesses or breaches.
- Analyze available information to determine the effectiveness of credit policies and recommend necessary changes to improve profitability.
- Carry out periodic activities defined in RAFM operation manual and improve existing process whenever required.
- Utilize the available tools to increase the level of automation to enhance the current controls and expand the scope of the controls.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure controls and processes remain up to date to changing business dynamics.
- Constantly update existing policies and procedures and introduce new ones whenever required.
- Prepare and present RAFM periodic reports to management.
- Handle cases and alarms generated by the system and continuously tune the controls to improve the accuracy
- Perform all other related tasks as assigned or needed.
Eligibility criteria
- BSc in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Business Information System, or any relevant field of study.
- Have 3-5 years of relevant work experience (Ideally with a mixture of Revenue Assurance, Billing, and Fraud Management experience).
- Strong skills in data analytics and attention to detail.
- Advanced hands-on experience in Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
- Experience in data visualization tools (Preferably Tableau).
- Hands-on in programming languages is a plus (Python).
