Opportunity description

Chalhoub Group is offering a job opportunity as an E-retail Executive to join the team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is a very dynamic role that requires technical & soft skills to succeed. You will be working with several stakeholders internally & externally where maintaining good relationships will be key.

Duties & responsibilities

Commercial strategy:

  1. Define and follow e-retail KPIs et ensures targets are met.
  2. Manage E-Retailers co-op budget & allocations: on site Media, co-funded discounts, GWP’s, sampling, etc.
  3. Develop e-retail strategy & e-trade activations while considering other sales channels (omni-channel approach), in line with the marketing strategy.
  4. Proactively identify new opportunities to improve the operational efficiency and grow e-retail business.
  5. E-retail marketing: 
  6. Set a yearly activation calendar for each retailer in alignment with the retail marketing team. Provide overall and tactical strategies, per retailer, for retailer market meetings.
  7. Analyse activity performances and make recommendations for future activities or adaptations.
  8. Regularly track competitive landscape and put in place innovative strategies where applicable (media, product page enhancements, new digital programs, CRM mechanics, …)
  9. Ensures guidelines from E-Retail Global team are followed and implemented.
  10. Provide monthly reports to HQ team including retailer activity, sell thru results and competitive analysis.
  11. Commercialize traffic brought to Retailers.com

Digital shelf management & media:

  1. Facilitate timely product launches on retailers.com.
  2. Oversee integration of e-retail assets (Copy, Pack Shots etc) into retailers.com, review and optimize product range, ensure quality and quantity of online assortment and online shelf/visual merchandizing.
  3. Maintain the most recent products, promotions, and information on Retailer.com sites -- removing items when they are no longer available and/or expired, including product and content, and adding new SKUs/Ranges when they are launched.
  4. Ensure digital implementations and media plans are aligned with trade activity and that a large proportion of media effectively drives to retailers.com.

Eligibility criteria

  1. University degree in Marketing or Business.
  2. Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  3. A good acumen of commercials & operations.
  4. Digital savvy with good knowledge in Digital Marketing.
  5. Strong negotiation skills.
  6. Insight driven and analytical.
