You will join the Finance Team, which plays a critical role in ensuring smooth and sustainable operations as the company grows. The team works closely with leaders across the organization on budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and daily financial operations to support data-driven decision-making and our mission to enhance Arabic learning.
Duties & responsibilities
Oversee customer invoice processing to ensure timely and accurate delivery across multiple regions
Ensure timely collection of customer payments
Apply customer payments in the accounting ERP system using CSV uploads
Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accurate customer balances
Investigate and resolve duplicate payment issues with customers
Process customer refunds and record them in the accounting system
Write off delinquent accounts to bad debt when deemed uncollectible
Process customer account adjustments in Salesforce and NetSuite, including reversals, credit memos, revenue adjustment journals, and opportunity re-openings
Negotiate with clients in cases of non-payment
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales and support teams to ensure adherence to collection practices
Monitor and reassign Zendesk Accounts Receivable tickets as needed
Issue customer campaigns to communicate updates to payment instructions
Resolve VAT-related issues with customers and ensure collection of valid tax IDs
Provide documentation support during financial and VAT audits
Handle ad-hoc finance-related assignments
Standard working hours are 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM (local time) to support collaboration with global teams
Eligibility criteria
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
1–3 years of relevant experience
Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills in Arabic and English
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with NetSuite or Salesforce is a plus
