GEMS Founders School – Dubai South, part of GEMS Education, is offering a job opportunity for an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join its teaching team starting in January 2027.
The role aims to provide a stimulating and safe learning environment for children in their early school years, helping them develop their academic, social, and creative skills while building independence and self-confidence through interactive learning activities aligned with the National Curriculum for England.
This opportunity allows both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers to work within an accredited British school and contribute to the development of early years education programs, while benefiting from the professional training and career progression opportunities offered by GEMS Education.

Duties & responsibilities
Plan and deliver learning activities: Prepare and deliver interactive lessons and activities aligned with the British curriculum and tailored to the needs of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Assess children’s progress: Monitor students’ academic, social, and behavioral development and use a range of assessment methods to identify their learning needs.
Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment: Encourage creativity, independence, and self-confidence while applying teaching strategies that address individual differences among children.
Collaborate with parents and the teaching team: Maintain regular communication with families and colleagues to support children’s development, and participate in school activities and professional development programs.
Eligibility criteria
Educational Qualifications
Applicants must hold one of the following qualifications:
A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree.
Or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, together with a recognized Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Professional Experience
The school encourages both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers to apply.
Experience teaching in an Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) environment following the National Curriculum for England.
Willingness to develop teaching practices and participate in professional training and mentoring programs.
Required Skills
