Localization Specialist Vacancy at TRT in Turkey

TRT Network is offering a job opportunity in Istanbul / Turkey as a Localization Specialist. TRT International is looking for Localization Specialists with 3+ years of experience to be part of its upcoming global entertainment service in Istanbul. 

The Localization Specialist is responsible for writing titles for shows, producing synopsis for episodes, commissioning visual elements, creating tags, and managing the localization of our content across platforms for our various genres: movies, children's content and documentary shows. 

The Localization Specialist will mainly write, produce, edit and lead engaging messaging by overseeing the language localization for the new international expansion service.

The successful candidate needs to be proficient in English and either Arabic, Urdu or Spanish.

1. Write titles for individual shows,
2. Create synopsis for individual episodes of our content,
3. Commission thumbnails from the design team and other visual elements for each episode,
4. Manage the descriptions and tagging of content on the platform,
5. Manage the homepage queue and featured content across platforms and regions,
6. Schedule and publish content to the relevant platforms based on the publishing schedule,
7. Be responsible for copy editing and finalizing all content before it goes live on the platform.

1. Bachelor’s degree inrelated field or 3+ years of relevant work experience, 
2. Proficiency in working with content management systems and media files,
3. Experience working with digital media space (preferably relevant industry),
4. Competency in using visual editing software,
5. Excellent command of summarizing episodes and show titles with engaging language,
6. Comprehensive awareness and interest in streaming platforms and entertainment industry,
7. Ability to develop projects as well as creative solutions to provide timely outputs to keep work on schedule,
8. Strong ability to prioritize projects based on short and long-term needs,
9. Comfortable to develop creative and fast paced asset production,
10. Be a self-starter who comes up with new approaches,
11. Excellent analytical, verbal, and written skills,
12. Results oriented, self-motivated.
