Amazon announces a job opportunity as a Digital Marketing Specialist for Amazon Devices (EU) in London. You will join the company's digital marketing team, whose mission is to deliver innovative online customer experiences, which are constantly improving to bring the right Amazon device (such as Echo, Fire TV, Fire Tablets, Kindle, or Amazon smart home/security products) to each customer. The team is also responsible for developing and implementing data-driven marketing strategies for Amazon devices across EMEA that deliver customers engaging experiences across the purchasing process, from product discovery to consideration and purchase. You must be fluent in German to join this position where you will support the company's growth within the German markets. This job can be located in London or Luxembourg.
Duties & responsibilities
- Lead the marketing department's overall roadmap, including implementing inputs, continually monitoring outputs, prioritizing based on impact, and executing against established plans.
- Working on marketing strategies to increase demand for products and acquire new customers through various digital channels.
- Work closely with multiple stakeholders such as product managers, designers, data scientists and other international partners.
- Plan, coordinate and implement innovative marketing and promotional initiatives to increase website traffic, sales and revenue.
- Develop targeting strategies that will improve marketing performance and promotions.
- Writing clear and attractive content for marketing campaigns.

Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- Proficiency in English and German.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (in English and German).
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, business, analytical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in creating, launching, and scaling successful online marketing initiatives.
- Excellent proficiency in Excel and understanding of various types of data.
It is preferable to have:
- Analytical skills and the ability to solve various types of problems.
- Proven track record of leading sales and marketing teams, or communications-based activities, in the digital or e-commerce space.
- Experience in online marketing channels such as SEO, paid search, email, etc.
- Experience in creating marketing content or in projects involving the development of creative assets.
- Familiarity with data query languages such as SQL.
