Operations Executive of Trade Finance Vacancy in Dubai by Charterhouse

Charterhouse is offering a job opportunity in Dubai, UAE, as it is currently in the process of managing an exclusive search for an organisation, within the commodities trading and logistics sector, whom are in the process of looking to recruit an Operations Executive of Trade Finance.

• This Executive will take oversight of all documentation processes, across the management of import and export letters of credit (LC), along with an overview to the drafting and execution of contract agreements; to support both financial and compliance related obligations. In conjunction, this role shall also link to areas of accounting, collections and fee management, within the overall finance system, whilst also tracking trade flows and managing any financial arrangements with both end-customer and any banking/financing partners.
• This Executive shall also be required to oversee the administration aspects across areas of shipping, logistics support and the settlement of payment cycles across all suppliers, vendors and/or intermediary parties, to develop strong financial reconciliations and P&L delivery.

1. The client will look for a candidate, with up to 8 years of experience, across the operations/middle office sphere, combined with strong exposure to areas of commodity trading and trade finance related activities and principles.
2. The successful candidate shall be required to understand the full-cycle of operations formalities, linking to LC financing and contracts, along with the requirement for strong and accurate documentation and industry guidelines.
3. This business will demand an individual whom can work and manage within a diverse role; whereby all tasks pertaining to middle office activities and any accounting activity can be handled in support of the senior management.
4. Successful applicants shall also be able to demonstrate a strong insight to shipping and logistic functions; allowing for strong controllership, governance and the further development of business policy and operational procedure.
