The Pega Platform Senior Engineer is responsible for defining, governing, and overseeing enterprise solutions built on the Pega Platform, with a strong emphasis on Constellation-based architecture and API-driven experience delivery. DIH is aiming to become the destination for top tech talents in Egypt.
Duties & responsibilities
Define and govern end-to-end architectures for solutions built on the Pega Platform, aligned with Constellation architectural principles.
Establish standards for UI and experience decoupling using DX APIs and Constellation APIs.
Design scalable case management and workflow solutions using native Pega capabilities.
Ensure correct and consistent usage of APIs based on channel type and architectural intent.
Act as the architectural authority for Pega Platform and Constellation adoption, enforcing adherence to Pega guardrails and best practices.
Review and approve application designs, case models, integration approaches, and API usage, in addition to conducting code reviews.
Define integration patterns between the Pega Platform and external enterprise systems.
Ensure all integrations and APIs comply with enterprise security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
Eligibility criteria
4+ years of hands-on technical experience using Pegasystems.
Deep knowledge of Pega Platform (Cloud v25+) and Constellation Architecture.
Proven experience in API-Driven Experience Enablement (DX APIs and Constellation APIs).
Strong capability to define integration patterns and data strategies between Pega and external enterprise systems.
Ability to review code, application designs, and integration models to identify and mitigate risks.
Fluent in English with strong technical leadership and communication skills to guide cross-functional streams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related technical field.
