Opportunity description

The university is seeking a full-time Post-Doctoral Researcher for the Language and Communication Research Lab (LCRL). The successful candidate will contribute to the research output and activities of the lab, focusing on high-quality publications and creating strong links between research and the community. The institution conducts research, provides training for emerging researchers, and offers research-based consultations.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Conducting and publishing high-quality Language and Communication (LC) research in highly ranked venues.

  • Promoting LC research within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

  • Providing training for emerging budding researchers.

  • Enhancing collaboration among researchers locally, regionally, and internationally.

  • Offering research-based consultations to relevant institutions and attracting grants for lab projects.

Eligibility criteria

  • Ph.D. holder in Language Studies, Communication Studies, or a related field (obtained within the last two years).

  • A solid publication record in Web of Science and Scopus-indexed journals.

  • A strong h-index (at least 5 in Scopus) and a minimum of 60 citations.

  • Experience with psycholinguistic online measures (e.g., eye-trackers) and corpus-based research is highly recommended.

  • Excellent technical and research paper writing skills, alongside excellent spoken English.
