Opportunity description

The company is seeking a Product Analyst / Portfolio Manager to be responsible for the product portfolio in the Middle East and Africa, including Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will focus on product and portfolio costing, product profitability review and improvement, supply chain optimization, SMOG inventory management, and product lifecycle data management.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Serve as the single point of contact for all business units relative to current costing of all portfolio items and cost implications of supply chain shifts.

  • Drive the high-impact bid costing process for the region to enable sales to effectively bid on new business opportunities.

  • Aid in the costing of new materials and develop effective supply chains to deliver fill rate while keeping inventory and COGS low.

  • Actively seek ways to optimize margin within the entire portfolio through supply chain optimizations and procurement savings.

  • Own, monitor, and recommend product life cycles, encompassing annual SKU rationalization and obsolete tracking.

  • Review and manage SMOG inventory in coordination with Supply Chain, providing direction on excess inventory solutions.

  • Review, update, maintain, and manage SAP data related to the portfolio.

Eligibility criteria

  • Bachelor's Degree is required; a Master of Business Administration is preferred.

  • 5 to 7 years of relevant professional experience.

  • Strong analytical thinking and business mindset, with the ability to turn insights into action.

  • Ability to pull, assess, and conceptualize key data in a digestible manner for leadership.

  • Team-oriented with strong communication abilities and a willingness to share ideas.

  • Passion for continually improving recommendations and optimizations to extract value from products and supply chains.

  • Willingness to travel up to 20% within the region.
