Duties & responsibilities
- Adhere to established KYC/AML processes for clients/vendors in line with Deloitte Global and local policies, performing due diligence as necessary.
- Conduct AML risk assessments, analyzing potential risks and identifying 'red flag' situations for escalation.
- Comply with all relevant internal policies and procedures.
- Assist in Customer Due Diligence including evaluating Politically Exposed Persons.
- Exhibit robust communication skills, regularly collaborating with teams on compliance-related functions.
- Engage with key stakeholders to enhance relationships, promote process improvements, and develop a culture of compliance.
- Communicate analytical findings to management and other team members effectively.
- Manage the centralized KYC mailbox, ensuring accurate and prompt responses.
Eligibility criteria
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Proficiency in basic PC applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Preferred experience in a similar role
- Strategic thinking abilities and team management skills
- Capability to conduct extensive research
- Proficiency in English, with Arabic being a plus
