The Associate – KYC/AML Compliance position at Deloitte Cairo focuses on ensuring financial compliance and client monitoring by executing KYC/AML procedures, assessing risks, and analyzing any red flags. The role includes conducting Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews, handling Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), and preparing compliance reports for management, while fostering a culture of adherence within the team. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals with strong analytical skills, proficiency in English, and basic computer applications, with Arabic language skills considered a plus. Duties & responsibilities

  • Adhere to established KYC/AML processes for clients/vendors in line with Deloitte Global and local policies, performing due diligence as necessary.
  • Conduct AML risk assessments, analyzing potential risks and identifying 'red flag' situations for escalation.
  • Comply with all relevant internal policies and procedures.
  • Assist in Customer Due Diligence including evaluating Politically Exposed Persons.
  • Exhibit robust communication skills, regularly collaborating with teams on compliance-related functions.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to enhance relationships, promote process improvements, and develop a culture of compliance.
  • Communicate analytical findings to management and other team members effectively.
  • Manage the centralized KYC mailbox, ensuring accurate and prompt responses.

Eligibility criteria

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Proficiency in basic PC applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Preferred experience in a similar role
  • Strategic thinking abilities and team management skills
  • Capability to conduct extensive research
  • Proficiency in English, with Arabic being a plus
