Internship Opportunity for Regional Telecom Engineers from Aqaba at Zain Company in Jordan

Zain Jordan offers a Regional Telecom Engineer Internship for Aqaba Residents in Jordan. It's looking for a fresh graduate to join the engineering department for a one-year internship contract under Zain Youth Program located in Aqaba.

You will be responsible for:

• Monitoring alarms and event logs for Radio Access Networks, Microwave Networks, Optical Network IP, Enterprise customers, and wholesale customers in coordination with the NOC division to detect any system errors, outages, and failures, or network redundancy loss.
• Onsite maintenance activities covering Radio Access Networks, Microwave Networks, Optical Network IP, Enterprise customers, and wholesale customers such as Fiber Cuts, Line of Site Problems…etc., through identifying solutions, handling/ following-up-on maintenance execution, and providing needed equipment/ spare parts, as well as liaising with vendors and/or, in order to ensure minimal downtime and proper network operation.
• Following up and monitoring the progress of subcontractors, organizing their activities, and examining their performance and deliverables during the implementation of expansion projects and maintenance activities related to Radio Access Networks, Microwave Networks, Optical Network IP, Enterprise customers, and wholesale customers, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

You must have:

• It's preferred to have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Telecom/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Be a fresh graduate.
• Being an Aqaba resident
